My registry has been corrupted and now the laptop wont boot and the repair folder is empty so i cant backup from that. I do have a resent backup of it in the form of a . reg file but since i cant get into safe mode i cant use regedt32 and restore this. So with my laptop in a hard disk caddy and plugged into my other PC i can fully access the drive but can i restore the registery from here. I tryed to double click it but it then trys to restore the regertry on the PC i’m using to view the drive. any ideas ? thanks
