I hope somebody can help, i have a very specific idea what I want but not sure of the best route to go down.
I’m building a website where people post music play-lists, therefore I would for them to be able to create a simple user account, thus allowing them to post links to music.
Most importantly I want it to be fast and reliable, ensure that whatever they post fits neatly into the parameters set by me (eg how it displays on the page as per my style sheets etc) and its something that I can expand with functionality over time.
Bear in mind i’m starting out with website building, so I want something fairly user friendly. I’m guessing I might be going down the route of MySQL, Droopal etc. But would something that integrates with wordpress be a safer bet?
Any help would be very gratefully received!

Regular expressions are far too complex to describe in detail, but there will be helpful links for it. • Backslash (\) preceding the period in .net needs to be there because a period in regular expressions is a wildcard. It can represent any character, not just a period. Placing a backslash in front of a special character such as the period will disable its special functionality. • A dollar sign ($) in regular expressions signifies the end of a string text. Since, a top level domain such as .net always comes at end of domain name and that’s the reason to use dollar sign. • Similarly, caret (^) sign can be used to signify the start of a string. So, we can search for all accounts with an IP address beginning with 12.202 using the expression ^12\.202. • It may seem complicated, but regular expressions can be a very powerful tool and would be especially useful if ever you have hundreds of accounts on server. • You can always just treat this form as the search forms you are used to. How would I go about doing this? I would rather pay for hosting than host myself as I dont have the hardware. . .
