In this video, I answer a question from Ian36. He would like to know if building a computer is a good alternative to buying them. I encourage people to build computers to learn more about them, but one major thing to consider is the time it takes to do it. If you have the time to invest in building computers then go for it, but if you find yourself without a lot of time then i suggest buying a pre-configured computer from a trusted source. Hope that helps Ian! Thank you for the question.

preconfigured will ALLWAYS have at least one useless component into it – otherwise prices explode – build it yourself – you are the only one who knows exactly what you want and most important what you need to use it for!

wow thats a nice computer, i planned to buy one and replace the graphics card, cuz they tend to make good computers with bad graphics cards and then make computers with good graphics cards with relatively the same specs for double the price. mine is:
intel i5 processor
4gb ram
500 gb hard drive
crappy ati mobility radeon hd 5470

its a laptop tho, so besides that graphics card its pretty good

mistake lol, i got 64-bit i got confused with my folders hehe

@MrPcHackz
did u say 86 bit or was that a mistake?

i spent 2000 pounds building a windows 7 gaming pc lol here are the stats. . . . .

2x Quad Core Processors
4x 4GB
64″ LED Samsung TV( my monitor )
Water Cooling System
Windows 7 86-Bit

Took a while but its FAST!

it is not hard to build a mac, they run on intel architecture. you just need to make sure that the graphics card has drivers for mac.

lol i didnt notice that

yeah its a binary clock

watch this vid /watch?v=cmpaAoY3SQc

sometimes i fall asleep with my socks on. . .

AMD 6000+ (Dual Core) with Zalman CNPS9500-LED CPU Cooler
4GB Ram
8800gt 512mb (PNY Nvidia Graphics)
Asrock mobo
22″ Acer Monitor
650watt Triple Fan psu
Vista 32 SP1
All built myself so any problems i know what to do with it.
If you know what you are doing i suggest build your own it’s cheaper and gives you a certain satisfaction.
Btw my pc is cheap as chips now and still plays fallout 3,farcry 2,Bioshock,Stalker clear sky on full.

HAHAHAHA i love the Bleach KFC pic in the backround! Also a big bleach & naruto fan. subscribed and cant wait for more videos

I believe its called a binary clock. It displays the time by lighting different lights. I have seen watches like it at places like thinkgeek.

Dude, I much prefer this intro to the other one. This one looks so much better, and it’s not annoying at all. Thanks.

same

you need more ram

whats that thing on the left with the blue lights on? i want one lol

Mine is actually a powercolor 4870, but I ran out of characters and had to delete a ton of text.

You have a better processor (more cores anyhow).

I don’t remember hearing about a 4670 model (I hear 4350 and wahtever). I’m guessing your card is a good mid-range card (mine is pretty much a decent High-end one, one with great bang for buck, which is why I got it).

2. 33 Core Quad
ATI 4670 IceQ Turbo 512MB
2G Ram
250 GB HDD
22″ Acer Monitor
Midsize Case
I don’t know PSU

Video card is very close :D

it only takes 3 days to ship and 1 day to build

/ Bwana for the win!

I built mine (NCIX to buy the parts). Did’t have fun putting it together. Not good at that sort of thing (fooled by people who said it was actually pretty easy), It isn’t the directions, so much as the process

when I built it, it worked right off the bat, and also didn’t have preinstalled bloatware.

2. 5GHz Core Duo
ATI 4870 512MB
4GB Ram (2x2GB)
500GB HDD
BenQ 1920×1080 monitor
Midsized Case
500Watt PSU

$1700 Canadian, not including shipping. But it plays any game on max at full resolution
