I already have a Windows XP computer and Vista Laptop linked to Wireless SKY internet via their wireless router.
But i can’t share printers or files between the two using just this – can i?
Otherwise can i get anything that enables me to do this.

You can.

You need to enable File and Print Sharing and allow it through Windows Firewall or whatever firewall you’re using.

Does the wireless router have different connections from it? if not you need to go buy a router of some sort G, N, whatever. And to do the files and print sharing just click on the file or whatever you want to share and share it. its that easy once you get a router good luck.

You will have to make sure that file and print sharing is on. Then if you go to view your network you should be able to see them there. Having them in the same workgroup will also be helpful. You can set that by right clicking on my computer icon and then going to properties.
From there computer name tab. If you have vista after properties go to advanced system settings.

You can also browse to your computer by opening windows explorer and typing \%computername% in the URL bar at the top. Make sure that the computer you are trying to connect to is in place of the %computername% without the percentage signs.
