Ok I just got FileZilla which was recommended by a user. And I’m following a tutorial on how to use it. I have just typed my username and my password to godaddy. com and I’ve typed 21 in the port box but what do I type in the host port?
My website URL is http://www. rogercourtney. co. uk
I tryed ftp://www. rogercourtney. co. uk but it just said:
Critical error
Cannot connect to server
sorry at the end it’s meant to say host PART not host port

When I look at filezilla, I don’t see “host port”. I see “port”, which you can probably leave blank, and “host”, which is usually just the URL of your website. If you just got your domain name, it may take a couple days for it to get into the DNS, which will have to happen before you can log in.
contact your hosting vendor and find out what settings are needed to upload to their server and explain what you are using.
BTW: Ron has no clue what he is talking about
the host the the website that is hosting your website ^^ like goddady. com or webs. com
hope this helps
