you’ll need a portfolio of sites you’ve worked on to show prospective clients. aside from your own site (and i wouldn’t suggest sticking with the graffiti font, it’s a bit hard to read), it might be worth it to take on a few jobs for free or very low cost to build your portfolio up. also, if you post in online forums, put your url in your signature, if you have a blog, make a few entries about it, anything that will get your name out there. there are also sites where you can bid on tech jobs, just google ‘bid on freelance web design projects’ or something like that and you should find them. i’ve been doing freelance work on and off for 7 years, even casually doing it i’ve made some decent money and some clients will lead you to others. i work with artists’ representatives who have had me build many sites for their clients. . .
